Ben Watson is an mx rider and has been on the radar for many years, especially since he entered the European EMX250 championship in 2014 and immediately proved his worth by finishing inside the top-three in four races with two race wins.

After finishing fifth place in his EMX250 rookie season, Watson made his pro debut inside the FIM MX2 World Championship in 2015 where he finished 21st despite missing a number of rounds. Having learnt and developed from his first term in MX2, the promising young Brit lined up competed in three rounds of the 2016 MX2 World Championship before a leg injury at the MXGP of Argentina put him out for the remainder of the year. Fully recovered in 2017, the teenager entered his second season in MX2 where he finished inside the top-ten in eight races and wrapped up the year with a fifteenth place ranking.

For the first time in his career, the Briton was armed with a Yamaha YZ250F in 2018 where he managed to hit a career milestone with his maiden podium appearance. As a consistent threat to the top-three in the MX2 World Championship, he narrowly missed out on the bronze medal but exceeded his own expectations and finished fourth in the final classification. In 2019, Watson will remain in MX2 and onboard the all-new 2019 YZ250F where he hopes to uncork a plenty more bottles of champagne.
