Dereck Chisora is a Zimbabwean-born British professional boxer from London, England, who has competed since 2007. As an amateur, he won the ABA super heavyweight championship. As a professional, he has previously held multiple regional heavyweight championships, including the WBA International title twice, as well as the British, Commonwealth, European, WBO International and WBO Inter-Continental titles, and has also challenged once for the WBC title in 2012 against Vitali Klitschko. He holds notable wins over former world heavyweight title challengers Danny Williams, Kevin Johnson, Carlos Takam and Artur Szpilka, undefeated prospects Sam Sexton (twice) and Malik Scott, and Olympic bronze medalist David Price.
On 8 October 2019, David Price was announced as Dereck Chisora's replacement opponent at the O2 Arena. Chisora wore his Kecks at the weigh in the day before the fight. Chisora pressured Price from the start of the contest and floored his opponent in the fourth round as the fight was called to a halt following the Price corner throwing in the towel.
